Top Flight Catering Silver Service Training

Top Flight Catering has put together a number of courses for the hospitality industry and we are working towards delivering these courses not only in traditional on site face-to-face format but also in DVD and even CBT (Computer Based Training) format. This means our training will not only be available to commercial clients, such as hoteliers and restarauters, whom wish to improve their standards of service and give themselves an edge over their competitors but also to individuals whom wish to enhace their skills and improve their career prospects whilst working at their own pace. Some brief details of the courses we can deliver, along with links to more detailed information, is shown below.

Silver Service
This course covers all aspects of restaurant service. Teaching the correct way to serve meals, lay a table, prepare condiments, and clear a table, with or without a tray. Cellar Work
We look at the requirements best suited to your business. Stock control. Stock rotation. How to store wines and spirits. Stock taking and ordering. How to change a keg of beer. The safe use of gas bottles and handling of them. Health and safety Select bar/cellar duties from the menu on the right.

Bar and Table Service
We take the student through the principles of bar work, including the law, hygiene & safety. Service of bar meals. Customer service (we also cover a workshop which goes through customer service training, Select bar/cellar duties from the menu on the right.

Housekeeping
This course is designed for Hotels & Guest Houses. We go through cleaning, deep cleaning. Cleaning solvents and equipment. Making beds and customer care. Safety and hygiene. Select Housekeeping from the menu on the right.

Portering/Front Desk
This course will train your staff in IT skills, the use of a portering service, security and fire prevention. Including first aid. Select Portering from the menu on the right.

Customer service
This course will demonstrate the true value of your employees and the demands of your guests/customers. From the reception this is the first taste of what your business offers. This two day course takes each student through different scenarios of customer care, in the bar, reception, dining room and over the phone. Select customer care  from the menu on the right.

Health Hygiene
This is a an in-depth look at health and hygiene in the work place. The law and you. How to work safely.  Risk assessment. Select Health hygiene from the menu on the right.
