Top Flight Catering was started by Terry O'Halloran, a student of the Royal Air Force School of Catering at RAF Hereford. Where he received the very best training in all aspects of catering and bar management - an absolute necessity due to the high ranking officers and other dignitaries he was expected to serve during his forces career.
Terry enjoyed a successful career in the forces; starting as most new recruits did working in various Officers' Mess, dining rooms and bars; he eventually became responsible for running dinner parties, receptions, garden parties and Balls for up to 500 people per event. The standards of service and event management required were very high indeed; during these events Terry would be at the table of very high ranking forces personnel and even has the honour of finding himself at the table of members of the Royal Family! It is fair to say that Terry has operated at a level in the industry that few others could hope to enjoy, and he has done so not just in the UK but throughout the world.
On leaving the forces after having served his time, Terry decided to take those exceptionally high levels of service usually only enjoyed by the few privileged and offer them to us all! In so doing Terry started Top Flight Catering and has committed to offering the highest levels of service and satisfaction through various events that can be held in your home, on your business premises or even at other event venues of your choosing. Terry is also committed through Top Flight Catering to offer these services at prices that are affordable to all, no matter what your event - be it a candle lit dinner for two, or a formal meal for business colleagues - you can be certain you will be receiving the highest levels of service at realistic and affordable prices; indeed it is often cheaper for parties to be held in the clients home rather than eat at a restaurant due to the other costs usually incurred such as Taxis, baby sitters and so on, and yet home based events allow you a level of intimacy and interaction with your guests that you are unable to achieve in a more formal restaurant environment.
Terry is now in the process of developing training programmes for the hospitality industry; allowing restaurateurs, hotels and their employees to offer a much higher level of service than they may otherwise be able to provide, giving them an edge over their competitors, increasing profitability and ensuring many repeat and happy customers through the provision of service excellence. These training packages will be delivered in a number of formats from self study CBT (Computer Based Training), DVDs and of course on site face to face training from Terry himself.
